Design and copy for a training manual

The brief

Brow Architects is one of the country’s leading microblading businesses. Increasing demand for their services identified the potential for scaling the business and in 2019 the founder launched an accredited training course to bring more qualified practitioners into the market. 

The challenge

The immediate need was for a fully comprehensive training manual.

Courses are run quarterly and the content was likely to change frequently, so the manual needed to be easily updated. Students would use the training manual throughout their course, in an environment involving ink and water, so the manual needed to accommodate this.

In addition, the business had a logo but not a brand so brand elements had to be designed and built into the end product.

The solution

We suggested a modular approach, using a ring binder so that individual, water-resistant pages could be removed or updated at minimal cost. The manuals were supported with a series of branded worksheets, legal documents, certificates, a new set of stationery, pop-up stands and A-boards for future events.

We also provided copy writing for the manual, plus advice on registering a trademark and protecting the brand marque and business name.

The results

Brow Architects grew to become one of the UK’s leading microblading training centres, offering accredited courses for beginners and established PMU artists.
