Branding
Pure
Make it happen.
The brief
Originally designed for serious fitness enthusiasts, Pure Fitness needed to evolve into a more accessible brand, incorporating fitness, training, and nutrition for a broader audience. There was also potential to expand the fitness branding into merchandise and lifestyle products, requiring a scalable identity that worked across multiple platforms.
A new website was key to this evolution, ensuring the brand’s digital presence reflected its broader appeal. With a focus on keyphrase optimisation and SEO monitoring, the site aimed to improve visibility, attract a wider audience, and enhance user experience for better engagement and conversions.
The solution
To create a cohesive yet flexible brand, a brand hierarchy was developed, with Pure as the master brand and distinct sub-brands for fitness, training, bootcamp, and nutrition. This structure allowed each area to have its own identity while maintaining a strong connection to the overarching brand.
The icon system played a key role in visually differentiating the sub-brands. By assigning unique colors to each category, we created a clear relationship between them while ensuring they could function independently. This approach not only strengthened brand recognition but also allowed for seamless expansion into merchandise and potential lifestyle products.
The results
The new fitness branding structure created a clear and cohesive identity, making Pure Fitness more accessible while retaining its credibility with serious fitness enthusiasts. The flexible icon system allowed each sub-brand to stand on its own while maintaining a strong connection to the master brand.
The website launch, supported by keyphrase and SEO monitoring, significantly improved site performance and visibility. With a scalable brand foundation in place, Pure is now well-positioned to expand into merchandise, lifestyle, and clothing, reinforcing its presence in the fitness industry.
