The brief

Sportsbikeshop offers the UK’s widest range of motorcycle helmets, clothing and accessories and this unrivalled choice needed to be conveyed to their target markets.

The challenge

The campaigns needed to convey the amount of products, rather than the products themselves. It needed to appeal to 5 different types of bikers, from commuters to Motocross. And the messaging needed to be gain standout in a busy marketplace.

The solution

The concept ‘Not just sportsbikes’ required 5 variations – one for each type of motorcyclist. In addition to learners and commuters we developed the campaign to include sports bike, adventure bike and naked bike riders.

The “More than” campaign communicated the choice available in multiple categories, from helmets to jeans, using strong visuals and headlines.

April Fools’ day led to orders being placed for Lego helmets that didn’t exist and a letter from Warner Bros threatening legal action over what they thought was a real superheroes suit!

The results

Sportsbikeshop has become the UK’s no 1 online destination for motorcycle clothing and accessories with a number of retail outlets across the UK.
