The brief

The Fitter Golfer wanted to reach golfers of different ages and abilities, helping them improve their game by improving their fitness. The existing brand needed a refresh to accommodate this and the communications needed to target golfers from casual to serious players.

The challenge

The branding needed to appeal to this variety of golfers, showing inclusivity and accessibility to all golfers while retaining a unique identity.

The solution

Four concepts were presented to the client. The chosen design used the negative space in the ‘O’ as a golf ball, which was defined by removing a golf tee shaped piece from the base of the letter. This then served as an identifiable branding tool across other pieces of work.

The results

The new brand was designed across a range of stationery, brochures, client welcome packs, sportswear and the new website.
